The HRIS Specialist serves as the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) subject matter expert (SME) supporting all HR functions. The position is responsible for processing all employee and positions related changes, monitoring, auditing, and maintaining the HRIS to ensure the integrity of the data relative to employees and their employment life with ACCESS. The specialist is a system super user and liaison between Human Resources and the HRIS vendor for troubleshooting issues and testing application functionality.

 

Top Priorities

 

  • Serve as the HRIS SME and liaison between HR, IS, and the vendor’s support team for troubleshooting system issues.
  • Manage and maintain the HRIS system, troubleshoot workflow, processing, and other related issues.
  • E-process all employee status changes
  • Ensure that employee files are audit ready per ACCESS standards.
  • Create new position codes as needed. Create employee ID badges as needed.
  • Report to manager, any data discrepancies; research and recommend related corrective actions.
  • Research and recommend related corrective actions for any data discrepancies
  • Process ad hoc reports and routine data requests.
  • Work with the HRIS and vendor team to review, test, recommend, and implement new software releases.
  • Manage HRIS system access levels and roles to safeguard all human resource data.
  • Identify areas of opportunity to improve existing HRIS processes, functionality and work flows to reduce manual processes.

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Associates degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field with two years of experience working with an HRIS or ERP system OR a HS diploma or equivalent with four years working experience on an HRIS or ERP system.
  • Working knowledge of e-system: workflows, file maintenance and management, and system auditing.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ceridian Dayforce experience
