Delta Dental of Colorado – Chief People Officer (CPO).

Established in 1958, DDCO is the largest, most highly recognized dental benefits provider in Colorado with excellent brand recognition, high regard for its network, stellar customer service and unwavering commitment to community benefit. The organization lives by its mission, to improve the oral health of those they serve and advancing oral health equity across Colorado.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this newly created role has been instituted to support DDCO’s ongoing commitment to a People-First Culture and to continuous improvement on behalf of its 1.4 million members across the State of Colorado. DDCO is deeply committed to their People First Culture which keeps their team members’ well-being top of mind, prioritizing their access to a wide range of opportunities.

It is expected that the next CPO will build upon this culture and serve as a torchbearer for DDCO internally and in external environments. In addition, the next DDCO CPO will have a JD and is expected to serve as the quarterback for legal issues in coordination with external counsel. As many human relations issues can sometimes result in legal action, DDCO is interested in a JD requirement for this role.

Delta Dental of Colorado offers a comprehensive compensation and executive benefits package which includes two health plans, free dental insurance, 401(k) match with supplemental retirement savings plan, company-paid life insurance, short-term disability and long-term disability benefits, annual bonus program and much more.  This position’s pay range will start at a base salary of $265,000.
