Interim & Consulting Specialist – SGR (remote)

Strategic Government Resources (SGR) is looking for an Interim & Consulting Specialist to join our innovative and dynamic team. SGR is one of the largest local government executive search firms in the nation and exists to help local governments become more successful by recruiting, assessing, and developing innovative, collaborative, authentic leaders. Primary services provided by SGR include executive recruitment, interim management placements, candidate, and employee assessments, live and online training, executive coaching, executive team development, governing body workshops, and strategic foresight for local governments.

 

Under the direction of the President of Interim, Consulting, and Embedded Services, the Interim & Consulting Specialist plays a key role in supporting all aspects of the Interim, Consulting, and Embedded Services business line by answering calls and efficiently directing inquiries, scheduling and facilitating client and candidate interviews, preparing client and candidate contracts for execution, providing billing and payment information to Finance, managing interim related databases, preparing content and maintaining distribution list for candidate newsletter, editing/proofreading documents and other copy, and maintaining a high level of confidentiality with sensitive information.

 

SGR seeks an experienced candidate who is excited about becoming a contributing member of our exceptional team to be its newest Interim & Consulting Specialist. The ideal candidate will embrace our unique and flexible culture and be willing to think outside the box. The chosen candidate must be highly collaborative and be a self-starter who possesses exceptional external customer support skills, multitasking, proofreading, and editing skills, with experience using AP style and usage guidelines. The selected candidate should be proficient in using digital platforms, cloud-based storage, working with PDFs and Microsoft Office Suite, Google G-Suite for Business, and be willing to adapt to dynamic processes that are frequently updated and improved. The chosen candidate for the position should be an excellent time manager who is comfortable working independently and on multiple projects as well as quickly changing priorities. This new team member should have excellent communication skills and must be detail oriented. Flexibility is important as priorities can shift rapidly in the course of a day. Team players who are willing to pitch in regardless of the task are ideal.

 

SGR is a 100% remote work company and team members are expected to have and maintain adequate internet connectivity and workspace from which to be successful. SGR provides the necessary technology and equipment for work operations. Team members communicate frequently each day to ensure excellence in client service delivery. Occasional in person team meetings should be anticipated so candidates must be based in the US in Eastern, Central, Mountain, or Pacific time zones only.

 

The salary range for this position is $20.69 – 24.34 DOE/DOQ. Anticipated work hours for this position are 8am – 5pm (CST) Monday – Friday.
