Assistant Vice President, Human Resources

Wellstar Health System seeks a dynamic executive to serve as its next AVP of Human Resources at Wellstar Paulding Medical Center located in Hiram, GA, approximately 25 miles Northwest of Atlanta. The AVP will serve as a vital leader and an engaged partner with the leadership teams at the local and system level. This is a highly visible position in the organization and will be instrumental in creating a culture that is a differentiator in the competitive employment market.

Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Human Resources of the Wellstar Health System, and partnering closely with the President of Paulding Medical Center, the AVP will be tasked with leading, developing and maintaining a high-quality, comprehensive human resources program that supports the institution’s mission, values and strategic plan. The AVP will be the go-to expert in all HR functional areas. An ability to toggle between strategic and tactical work will be critical in the journey for this executive as they seek to achieve HR service delivery and operational excellence.
